Work completed
I finished writing a draft kind of script for 5 topics. Daily workout, Group project, Competition, Internship/Apprenticeship and Self directed learning.
Learnings
I don't think there was much learning in this project this week as I was just writing the same type of script I wrote before, but now for different topics.
Work completed
I finally picked the theme I think is the best for the website and I got started with making some product pages. I am now exploring how to connect all of them to the main page and create category pages that show the product pages as well. I am still learning how to use the WordPress editor and the Elementor editor.
Learnings
Work completed
I detailed out 3 target audiences for the brand Naturals Ice Cream. I had Teenagers, Office people and Parents. I detailed their character and what might convince them to buy Naturals ice cream. I then came up with 5 Lines that could be used in various marketing formats. I took care of making it relatable so that the audience may have a better connection to it.
Learnings
I got new ideas to make the line more relatable. This came because of detailing out the target audience, trying to figure out how they would think based on their age and occupation. After doing this I could forge a few lines trying to convince them to visit the brand. I think I can work on being more attractive by being a little funny. But I will have to check with professionals if it works or not.
We had a 30 min session where he showed us how to optimize searching on Google or any other search engine.
Learnings
Different search engines: We learnt there are many different search engines that show different results based on the same text searched. Search engine would work slightly differently but would work almost the same. Using keywords: Asking fully sentenced question may not be the best way to find what you're looking for. Use keywords to find exactly what you're looking for. Like, I want to learn how to bake bread, so instead of typing "how to make bread" I type in, bread recipes to get what I really need. File search: You can also search the web for the specific file you're looking for. If I know a book that probably has a kindle edition or even if it doesn't. There's a chance that if you type in pdf you'll find the whole book there. You can do the same to search for other file types like jpg, doc etc. You get your website on the first page of the search by doing Search Engine Optimization, which making the site more relevant by regular activity and maybe presence on other platforms.

Learnings
- Editor
I learnt the basics of using the WordPress editor. I'm also going through Elementor's video course on using their platform to build a website. They explain the basics of what pages to start building first and the settings you need to change.
- Themes
I found out that just like downloading an app you can get external themes and just upload them onto WordPress. I did some research on E-commerce themes that are compatible with WordPress and picked out a vey clean theme that could host some good visuals as blocks.
- Error
I am still trying to figure this stuff out. I faced two errors this week when trying to log into my admin account. I either get some maintenance message or a some reading error of the website itself. I will have to google the error and see what can be done.
