Social Media Campaign
Work completed
I thought through what type of posts should go on respective social media platforms. What types of posts can go on multiple platforms as well as the basic format it should be presented in.
Also made a list of what type of videos can be produced for the quick scrolling apps (Meta apps).
Learnings
I learned most from watching a video that explained the 3 type of short form content that can be used to attract, engage and get the audience to benefit us in some way. Here are the 3 types of videos
- Attraction
These videos are to get the audience to visit your profile and generally are for people who don't know you. The videos ideas here are Recommendation, Inspiring, Myth busting. Recommend something from your field of expertise. Make an inspiring video that changes or encourages the audience to try something new. Bust some common myths so the audience sees some value from your page.
- Nurture
Nurturing video are to emphasize more on your selling product or intended message. The ideas are FAQ's, Clear hesitation and doubt for your viewers. Comparisons between what you're offering and what a competitor is offering (if it's a product) If it's a thought then compare it to a countering perspective.
- Conversion
These are usually videos you create to get the viewer to either purchase a course/service or buy a product or join your community. Here you can make videos like Product Demos, explaining how to use a product, benefits of it or contents of a course. Testimonials of customers/members or case studies sharing the results of whatever you're trying to sell. Have some type of CTA (Call to action), maybe have a link in the description or direct them to a landing page/ website through the video itself.
LinkedIn Workshop
Work completed
I have only made notes from the 4 days completed, I still have 1 more topic to cover and a live Q&A session to attend. I am yet to apply the tips and techniques to my personal and Aarohi's LinkedIn profile.
Learnings
I have a lot of notes to share, I'll share the basic understandings from each day/topic.
- Objective and Target Audience
In this section we covered how we question ourselves to figure out our objectives and who our target audience could be based on what our objective is. Questions like What we want from LinkedIn?, Who does our service/product help?, or for job seekers What do I do? and who can Hire me? .
- Profile Optimization
Profile optimization section is all about how to make the profile look professional or pretty if you prefer. The 3 keys to achieve this is being Searchable, that is having your Name, Title, Location and Experience. Being Clickable is having a good trustworthy headshot profile picture, and using the featured section to plug in your various works and CTA if selling something to your audience. Lastly being Approachable is the finer details like description, work experience, cover picture, recommendation and skills and endorsements.
- The Connection Loop
This section shows us how to approach someone from the connections feature in linkedIn. It explains how many of the percentage of people should be from our Target audience and how many should be people who have the highest probability of engaging with our content if we have some put out. How to connect with people using the filter in the search bar. The last way to find meaningful connections is to use other peoples networks and people from groups related to your field.
- Content
Written posts work the best on LinkedIn. ideas for these posts are as follows. Personal stories sharing something interesting yet valuable or just engaging in general. Trend jacking is when you take a trend in your field and write something about it. Voice your opinions and get the viewers to engage with the post by asking something. Other options are carousels and videos. The perfect post was broken into 3 sections 1. The hook (first two lines) 2. the middle engagement part (not too long) 3. CTA, (redirect them somewhere if possible). Lastly drop comments to get noticed by other people who could potentially connect with you.
Coversity Social Media Posts
Work Completed
I have done 4 posts till now, I got the content and the matter for the description ready. I need to post it, I've been getting feedback and changing it, hence haven't posted them yet.
Learnings
I used some previous knowledge of applying gradients to get a darker picture without editing the picture. I learned spacing and graphics basics. I explored how to use different templates and customize the customized templates for Coversity. Here is some of the work that I could plug in.
