Coversity website

Work completed

This week we kind of made a better flow for the website and finally started other work than just thinking about how the website should be for the user. I wrote a script for a small video explaining projects through my own experience of picking two projects.

Learnings

I think I wrote a  decent script. I included all the points we wanted to put across to the audience. I also tried to play around by adding some fancy words to make it seem a lot more professional and appealing. Otherwise there weren't any "learnings" I thought I got from this week.

Here is the video I wrote the script for

Dhanak website

Work completed

I finally started editing the website and playing around with the features. Trying to see see what does what is kind of hard with WordPress even after watching a video on how to set up an e-commerce website. I'm in the process of finding out what theme suits me best. I am also making a lost of products images I'll need for the website.

Learnings

I think just understood the basic settings for WordPress and what setting should be adjusted on WordPress and on what respective plugins. I found out about blocks and how to use them to add different functions etc. I am still learning about themes, which one to take how to preview them etc.

Calisthenics Session

Work completed

I was asked to prepare a session for everyone at campus on calisthenics and bodyweight training. Since I am also starting to get into calisthenics because of  lack of gym. I watched videos on how to start with calisthenics and what all exercises can be done to start progression towards advanced impressive calisthenics movements.

Learnings

  • Movements
There are extremely advanced calisthenics movements that you see often and there are some really hard but relatively simple ones like, One arm pull up or One arm push etc. There are easier variations you can practice and then progress to your goal.
  • Warm up
I have felt in the past week, when I don't warm up my wrists which are heavily involved in calisthenics, I get a slight pull on my left inner wrist. To avoid this I'm going to start doing special callisthenic wrist movements that involve putting pressure on the wrist at an angle.
