Dhanak Website

Work completed 

I redid the website because of some technical issues in the previous one. I set up the theme finally, got done with making the header for all devices and adding products. I think I've got how to add variables of a product. Like different weight and scents. 

Learnings

I learned to check thoroughly for the plugin version as that may be a cause for the website to get reading errors in the code. 

I learned the basics of how the word press page editor works and what blocks are and the wide variety of options there are in a free editor. 

For adding products I learned where to add variables and how to make menus that have sub pages. I also learned how to link texts or images to open other pages. 

Coversity website 

Work completed 

We went through another round of discussing the flow of the website. We changed it completely going for a much simpler video based walk through of Coversity. 

Learnings

I'd say the only new thing I learned was writing a good customized prompt for Chat GPT to come up with a basic structure of how my script for a short video on a certain subject should be. 

Investing research

Work completed

I had a call with one of my brother's in law. Understanding what all different types of mutual funds are there and how does one go about investing in them. 

Learnings

I understood the difference between Bonds, Small, Medium and Large cup funds, Index funds. I understood what these are. I am yet to study how well the companies in each type of mutual fund perform. 

I learned what a Demat account is: It is basically an account that doesn't carry the risk that a normal bank would with physical assets. The name comes from De-Materializing assets. Since it's electronic and has virtual assets it's safer. I can also manage the Demat myself which reduces the money I would've had to pay to a for someone to manage it. (I'm forgetting the term of the person who manages one). I also have to do the investments as SIP to reduce the risk due to market fluctuations. 

September ad campaigns

We just ran two boosted posts and I did some research on what to analyze about the ad campaign. I sent the list to my cousin who is into digital marketing. 

Learnings

I haven't done the campaign analysis yet and I still need to understand the different terms that are part of the analysis of an ad campaign.
