Use your body to turn

While you're being closed down by an opponent. You'd think just taking a touch to the side will beat the player every time, but that's not the case.

I heard Messi saying that he likes when the defenders get too close from behind him, because it's easy to take a touch and turn. I even heard Yaya Toure complain about how Eden Hazard uses his body to roll off players while dribbling. The basic Idea is to change the direction you're going in while keeping your body in between the ball and the defender.

Even though this is something I find easier to do than other styles of dribbling. I think it should only be used in the rare moments you have a defender on your back. I wouldn't recommend putting yourself in a situation where you have to use it. Because the main goal is to get past the defender. It's used a lot more in the middle of the field or in an attacking position. That's where you have pressure on your back the most.

That's it
