Leaning back for air balls

 I have been recently losing the ball from high ball situations. One problem is me not keeping my eyes on the ball, but that's workable and something I can fix using my mind itself. The other problem is that I lean back while I'm receiving. I do it mostly with my inside foot and I lean back, this makes the ball go way too far away from me and The defender comes in and steals the ball before I can lean forward and charge for the ball. 

This also happens with controlling on other body parts and leaning back. For example the chest if you lean back and try to receive, you have no control over the ball, because you're stretching and can't give enough cushion and keep it with you. So don't stretch  and lean back just get under the ball and give proper cushion and keep the ball you.
