Letting the fullback participate

I got feedback from my full back that I wasn't letting him be part of attacking and building up play from the back. I have also been told by my coach that I don't involve the full back enough.

I have create more space near the sideline for my fullback to be able to come up. I need to come inside (towards the attacking mid) and drag the opposition with me. That will leave space for mu fullback to come up, since I'm a little infield, he can use me to do a one two if the oppositions fullback pressures him.

I have to be careful and make sure that I'm not taking my attacking mid's space. I should be going in only when he is slightly more towards the center circle. Otherwise I end up making him useless.

When I'm already inside near the 18yard box and I my striker has the ball and wants to play it out to the wing for a cross. Me going all the way out isn't necessary, I can drop slightly and create a passing lane to the line. Then I call my fullback up and he can either put the ball in first time or, he can dribble to the line and then I'll be near the edge of the 18yard box to receive a cut back. I can then either turn and switch play or take a shot myself.

I DON'T have to go all the way to the line all the time.

That's it
