Shield like Gavi

I was watching this one video on Gavi and I can't help but fall in love with his shielding skills. He is somehow able to protect that ball like a well trained bodyguard.  Here is the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHkhl9ghVPI

1. He uses his body: He get's his body in front of his opponents at almost anytime. That comes from repeatedly turning away from them and finding another way to turn past them.

2. Against momentum: He always moves against the defenders momentum, He watches what they're doing, and then does some feint to make them go the other way and then partly puts his body in front of the ball and goes.

3. 180 Degree turns: This is something he does very well. I see him going one direction then suddenly he gone the other way. It's good to even change a little like at a 45 degree angle but completely the other direction is crazy effective. If you change 180 degree he has to hit the brakes and then turn his body then he can follow you.

4. Give the ball away: When you get too many people on you, give the ball to someone who is free and can build the play from wherever he is. By giving away the ball your are protecting possession and helping the team to keep the pressure on the opponents.

That's it
