Napping as a footballer

 Why nap as a footballer?

1. Increased performance 

2. Reinforces the memory of what is learned just as good as a full night's sleep (Apparently sleeping on something strengthens memories made throughout the day).  

3. Helps stay alert (feeling fresh and not tired, obviously).

4. Emotional well being (not too sure about this one). 

How to nap properly?

1. The length should be around 30 min 

2. Avoid napping after 3 to help sleep better during the night. (Nap during the "post lunch dip").

3. Create the same environment you would before sleeping in the night. (Dark room, Silent and cool room). 

That's whatever I know, I'll have to put it to test.
