Expect the rebound
I recently watched Aubamayang score 2 goals doing this. Sure a lot of people would call this "JuSt A TaP iN". But they don't see the movement building up to the goal.
It's really clever how they move, not in an obvious position. But staying discreet manner, staying out of sight or standing in a place where they can pounce on the ball if there is a deflection or save to happen.
Always be ready for the rebound ball. Because even if your teammates shot is on target the keeper could make a save or the defender could block it, Or the ball could hit the crossbar and side post. These would result in the ball coming back and that's where you get a second chance to get the ball in the goal. Or your teammate could pull it slightly wide and you could put it in.
All the top strikers score the so called "tap ins" but there's a lot of anticipation in it, what angle will the ball drop at if the save is made or where can I receive it in the 6 yard box.
That's really all for this one. I don't have anything else.
