What I think game intelligence is

This is before I get into game intelligence chapter of the book I'm reading.

Game intelligence to me is the knowledge of what is happening right now, what can happen, what are the outcomes of this situation. Observing the other teams players and figuring out what they're doing and breaking that system.

As a lot of people say developing this skill would automatically boost your level of play. Because not many people work on it seriously. They do learn about it, but not in the way they would practice technical skills.

I find myself lost sometimes while playing. I don't know what is where and what I'm supposed to do. One way to work on this is scanning which I think I'm already working o quite a lot. The scanning will help me see what situation I am in and the game intelligence will tell me what to do in that situation. If I don't know the exact answer for that situation my brain can tell me what to do from similar scenarios, or just processes what is the best way to do at the moment.

I am right now developing game intelligence by watching matches and reading about tactics. I will find out more ways after getting into the book I'm reading.

That's it

  1. One more amazing way to develop game intelligence is to talk, discuss with people - because different people see a situation in diff ways - this will give you an idea of how others could think and that can help you both learn from them and learn about them so that you can take better decisions.
